Will you be the unifying leader of the LOMT?

The Texel Aviation and War Museum (LOMT) is looking for an enthusiastic and unifying Chair to lead our unique museum towards a professional future.

What will you do? As chair, you are the backbone of our organisation. You lead the board meetings, safeguard the strategic course and are the face of the museum towards the municipality, partners and the press. Your most important task is strengthening the foundations: by listening to our greatest asset, our volunteers, and by building a transparent culture in which everyone feels heard.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for an empathetic leader who brings calm and motivates people. You are a networker with a passion for the history of Texel, who dares to make decisions together with others while keeping everyone on board. You understand that ‘voluntary does not mean non-committal’ and you know how to lead a team of passionate volunteers.
